About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician cleans and reconditions vehicles using pressure washers, automatic washers, cleaning products, and related equipment. Duties include cleaning vehicle interiors and surfaces, waxing and buffing auto bodies, applying protective sealant, refurbishing headlights, and thoroughly inspecting vehicles before delivery. The technician maintains service tools and equipment, meets customer requirements, and upholds the organization’s service standards. Other duties may be assigned by a manager. Work is primarily performed in a garage or outdoors as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The technician may be required to work at nearby job sites. Weekend availability is required. Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers.
Remove interior trash and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or buff surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbish headlights.
Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
Understand and meet specific customer requirements.
Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
Perform other responsibilities or duties as assigned by a manager.
