About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician washes and details vehicles using pressure washers, automatic washers, cleaning agents, applicators, and other cleaning devices. Duties include cleaning vehicle interiors and surfaces, applying wax and protective sealant, buffing surfaces, refurbishing headlights, and thoroughly inspecting vehicles before delivery. The technician maintains service tools and equipment, meets customer requirements, and upholds the organization's service and quality standards. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.

The work is primarily performed in a garage or outdoors as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The technician may be required to work at nearby job sites and must be available on weekends.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers.
• Remove interior trash and clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply wax and buff vehicle surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights.
• Maintain the organization's service and quality standards.
• Understand and fulfill specific customer requirements.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
• Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including responsibilities provided by the manager.
