About The Position

Chastang Ford is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our Dealer Group. In this role, you will manage both new and used vehicle sales alongside our General Sales Manager. A strong automotive background and excellent desking skills are essential, as is proficiency with CRM tools. We offer a fast-paced, upbeat work environment where a great attitude and outstanding work ethic are key.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and control customer interactions on the lot, in the showroom, and throughout the sales process.
  • Coach and train the sales force.
  • Desk and input deals.
  • Achieve gross profit objectives.
  • Monitor leads, holding staff accountable for responding to and closing leads.
  • Manage the training process for the sales team.
  • Maintain harmony and teamwork across all departments.
  • Stay informed and comply with Federal, State, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales.
  • Communicate dealership policies and procedures to Salespeople, setting sales and gross objectives.
  • Develop improvement programs for Salespeople who are not meeting objectives.
  • Individually train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all Salespeople.
  • Ensure Salespeople maintain a high Customer Satisfaction Rating.
  • Recruit and interview prospective Salespeople.
  • Monitor customer activity on the lot and ensure every customer is helped.
  • Assist Salespeople with the sales process as needed.
  • Contact every customer on a daily basis.
