About The Position
Kansas City Hyundai is seeking a motivated Used Car Technician to prepare pre-owned vehicles for sale. The role involves inspecting vehicles, identifying and repairing issues, and completing maintenance and reconditioning work. The technician should take pride in quality workmanship, pay close attention to detail, and work efficiently while meeting dealership quality and safety standards. The dealership offers pay of $20–$50 per flag hour, three weeks of paid time off after one year of employment, a professional and supportive work environment, and the opportunity to work with a growing dealership and service team. Requirements
- Previous automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and produce quality repairs.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Inspect used vehicles and identify needed repairs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete maintenance and reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for resale.
- Perform brake, suspension, engine, and other automotive repairs as needed.
- Ensure repairs meet dealership quality and safety standards.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
