About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at Crown Acura in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the used car sales department to achieve sales goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain inventory turnover. You will work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, oversee daily operations, and ensure a seamless car buying experience for our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive used car sales management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of automotive industry trends and market conditions.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
  • Proficient with sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no major infractions) for a minimum of three years.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the used car sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Maintain a strong inventory of quality pre-owned vehicles, evaluating and pricing vehicles competitively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and finance partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Lead regular training and development sessions for the sales team.
