About The Position

Tony's Muscle Cars is seeking a skilled Automotive Upholstery/Convertible Top Installation Technician to join their growing business in Hazleton, PA. This role involves disassembling and restoring seat assemblies, repairing or welding seat frames and springs, installing new seat covers, and removing/installing convertible tops. The technician will also install weather stripping, spring kits, and hydraulic components, adjust convertible tops and side glass for proper fit, and create custom templates for trunk and interior work. The position requires collaboration with the team and flexibility to move between tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive upholstery experience
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability
• Commitment to safety and quality
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Woodworking experience
• Template design using cardboard or similar materials
• Custom interior fabrication experience
