About The Position
Muncie Imports and Classics is seeking an experienced Automotive Restoration Upholsterer for their award-winning full restoration services company specializing in import and classic cars. The ideal candidate will have experience reupholstering vehicle interiors, including seats and trim. This is a career-oriented position with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements
- Upholstery Experience REQUIRED

- Auto Body Technician Experience
- Ability to measure, cut, sew, multiple materials including vinyl
- Experience with hand tools, glue, cement, and staples
- Knowledge of various fabrics and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to verify components installed correctly
- Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Replace and repair automotive trim and upholstery
- Ensure sewing machines are in good working order
- Work from patterns to cut, bond, and assemble pieces to final design
- Install strappings
- Hem and length materials
- Upholstery fabrication, welding, and restoration
- Ability to measure, cut, sew, multiple materials including vinyl
- Experience with hand tools, glue, cement, and staples
- Knowledge of various fabrics and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to verify components installed correctly
