Lewis Ford Pooler, we're looking for a Transmission Technician to join our growing service department. Requirements

• Proven experience diagnosing and rebuilding both automatic and manual transmissions (at least two years of experience in a dealership setting preferred)
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Must provide your own tools
• Must be 19 years or older with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Willing to submit to a background check

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Perform transmission diagnostics and repairs efficiently and accurately
• Review repair orders and perform work according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Document findings and repairs on repair orders
• Conduct test drives and use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle system issues
• Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors and team members
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace
