About The Position

Mazda of Spartanburg, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Automotive Technicians to join their award-winning, high-volume service team. Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1948, is a third-generation, family-owned and operated business with over 50 dealerships and more than 4,500 employees across 8 states, concentrated in the Southeast. The company is offering a newly remodeled Mazda facility opening July 2026.

Requirements

3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required)
Customer focused professional who is self-motivated, competitive and coachable.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturer experience preferred
Willing to work on all makes and models

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
