Automotive Technician
About The Position
Byrider is growing and has an opening for an Automotive Technician. This position offers a reward of up to $70,000.00 per year with an hourly rate, not flat rate. Technicians can expect steady work with 45 hours a week, Monday through Friday work hours. There is a monthly tool bonus of up to $250, and extra monthly and quarterly bonuses are available. Technicians will work in an A/C & Heated shop and have the use of a company vehicle to drive home from work. Optional Saturday work is available at a higher pay rate. There are opportunities for career growth to Buyer, Manager, or Specialist.
Requirements
- Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Set of tools (specialty tools provided)
- B level Auto Tech or higher
- Able to hang parts
- Able to swap out an engine or tranny on occasion
Responsibilities
- Repair customer vehicles
- Some engine & transmission swaps (no rebuild)
- Help ensure a safe work environment
- Test drives as needed
