About The Position

Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. The busy Princeton BMW dealership has an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Automotive Technician to join the Holman family. Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on qualifications. Relocation assistance is available. The BMW Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager. This role involves performing work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, diagnosing malfunctions, and performing repairs. The technician will maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials, keep the shop area neat and clean, account for dealership tools, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality repairs. Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry and diagnostics is essential.

Requirements

BMW/MINI experience is highly desired.
Minimum of 3 + years of dealer-level or large facility experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to undergo and satisfy our background requirements.

Responsibilities

Servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times.
Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair.
Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena.
