About The Position

Sun Devil Auto (part of the Sun Auto Network) is a family-owned repair shop in Phoenix, established in 1978, that helps individuals keep their vehicles running smoothly. They are looking for an Automotive Technician, specifically a transmission rebuilder, to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is a professional, detailed-oriented, self-motivated rebuilder skilled in automatic transmissions with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This position offers a negotiable flag rate based on experience.

Requirements

• Possess current, valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior experience working on Transmissions
• At least five years of experience building common 4, 5 and 6 speed automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly and assembly of automatic transmissions
• Transmission tear down and diagnosis
• Parts pricing and ordering
• Transmission troubleshooting
• Other duties as assigned
