About The Position

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle systems while maintaining high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping. The role includes a flat-rate earnings guarantee of 40 hours for the first 30 days and 30 hours after the first 30 days while building a customer base. Pay depends on experience and skill level. The position offers ongoing training and a defined career path, with opportunities to advance through certifications and experience.

Requirements

• At least three years of automotive repair experience, or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) certification.
• ASE A5 (Brakes) certification.
• State inspection license.
• MAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot vehicle problems and use diagnostic skills and current technology to resolve them.
• Mentor teammates and continue learning as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and wheels, and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
