About The Position

BMW Toronto is hiring for a full time service technician! As a key member of our service department you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Working together with our team, more specific duties will include; diagnosing and repairing vehicles; ensuring the service shop is maintained in a clean, organized, hazard-free manner; participate in any required shop safety activities; participate in technical training as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
