About The Position
Byrider is growing and has an opening for an Automotive Technician. This is a full-time position with steady work, Monday-Friday, 8 am-6 pm. Optional Saturday work is available at a higher pay rate but is not required. Technicians will not have to work nights or weekends. The shop is A/C and heated, and technicians will use a company vehicle to drive home from work. There are opportunities for career growth to Buyer, Manager, or Specialist.
Requirements
- Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience
- Valid driver's license
- Set of tools (specialty tools provided)
- B level Auto Tech or higher
- Able to hang parts
- Able to swap out an engine or tranny on occasion
Responsibilities
- Repair customer vehicles
- Some engine & transmission swaps (no rebuild)
- Help ensure a safe work environment
- Test drives as needed
