About The Position
Byrider is growing and adding an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to our team! This role offers steady, predictable pay with a monthly bonus, a Monday-Friday schedule, and full benefits. You will inspect inventory vehicles, diagnose and repair customer vehicles, perform major repairs (excluding rebuilds), and complete test drives. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment.
Requirements
- A-level Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to handle major repairs
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal tool set (we provide specialty tools)
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Inspect inventory vehicles from auctions, wholesalers, etc.
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles
- Perform major repairs as needed, including engine/transmission removal (no rebuilds)
- Complete test drives when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment
Benefits
- Up to $35 per hour depending on experience and skill level
- Not flat rate — steady, predictable pay
- Monthly bonus up to $1200
- Guaranteed 40 hours
- Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM–5 PM)
- Occasional overtime with overtime pay
