Honda Automotive Technician
About The Position
White's Auto Mall is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join its Honda Service Team in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. This role maintains and repairs vehicles in a dynamic, supportive dealership environment, using current automotive technologies to help ensure vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. The dealership describes a collaborative workplace, opportunities for advancement, paid factory training, and a family-owned legacy of more than 100 years. Compensation is up to $36.00 per flat-rate hour. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to qualified applicants. The service department closes at 5 PM on weekdays, 1 PM on Saturdays, and is closed Sundays.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of technician experience.
- Proficiency with new vehicle technologies.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
- Proficient computer skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs to support vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Provide estimates for additional necessary repairs.
- Communicate mechanical problems and repair solutions clearly and professionally to Service Advisors.
- Document testing and repair procedures accurately on work orders.
- Complete multi-point inspections, including pictures and videos.
- Maintain and update technical knowledge and skills through formal training and by staying current with automotive technologies.
