About The Position

Toyota of Naples is hiring an Automotive Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work according to repair orders and dealership standards. The role involves testing vehicle components and systems, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, and working with Service Advisors to communicate additional service needs and estimated repair times. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to identify problems quickly.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report screening.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards.
Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and estimated time for repairs.
Keep customers’ vehicles clean and maintain an orderly, clean work stall.
Operate tools and equipment safely.
