Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Technical training or certification preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems
Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Follow all safety policies and manufacturer procedures
Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience
