About The Position

Sloane Toyota of Glenside is now hiring automotive technicians for our Main Shop. If you have dealership experience or are a A,B,or C level tech- we would like to meet you!

Sloane Toyota of Glenside, one of the area’s prominent automotive dealerships for over thirty years, prides itself on having an established customer base and a tremendous product to work on. Located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, minutes from the Willow Grove mall, turnpike and rt 309, we have carved out a successful place in our community to do business. Our facility offers our technicians an air-conditioned, brightly lit with the latest technology and equipment to comfortably work on vehicles.

Dealership experience is not required but is a plus! All applications held in the strictest confidence.

Our Automotive Service Technicians are responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealership service center and factory standards.

Requirements

• experience as a Automotive Service Technician is required
• Must hold a PA Inspection License
• Must be a team player
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Certified experience is a plus but not required
• Dealership experience is not required but is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
• Document work performed
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician
• Ensure that customer's cars are kept clean
• Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
