Experienced Automotive Technician

At Mastria Mazda, we're looking to add an experienced Automotive Technician to our service team. This opportunity is designed for an established technician with professional, hands-on automotive repair experience who is ready to bring their skills to a busy dealership environment. This is not an entry-level technician position.
Requirements
- Previous professional automotive technician experience required
- This is not an entry-level position
- Dealership experience strongly preferred
- Mazda or other manufacturer training/certifications a plus
- ASE certifications preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Commitment to quality, efficiency, and doing the job right
- Positive, professional, team-first attitude
Nice To Haves
- Mazda or other manufacturer training/certifications a plus
- ASE certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Mazda and other vehicle makes and models
- Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Complete scheduled maintenance and multi-point inspections
- Identify necessary repairs and communicate recommendations clearly with service advisors
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
- Stay current on Mazda technical information, manufacturer updates, and service bulletins
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, productivity, and customer satisfaction
