Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician.
Comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems, mechanical functions, and components.
Strong troubleshooting abilities with solid problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Effective communicator with a customer-focused approach.
Capable of working productively on your own in a high-volume environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Ford certification preferred, though not mandatory.
Certifications from other OEMs like Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, GM, etc. are transferable to the Ford STARS program.

Responsibilities

Complete a broad variety of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and within appropriate timeframes.
Identify and resolve advanced mechanical concerns using proper diagnostic equipment and tools.
Document all services and repairs thoroughly and accurately.
Perform work to meet or exceed manufacturer guidelines and quality expectations.
Stay current on industry advancements through ongoing training and certification programs.
Clearly explain recommended services and completed repairs to customers, addressing questions as needed.
Work alongside the service team to keep the shop clean, safe, and well organized.
Follow all established safety standards and workplace regulations.
