About The Position

Seminole Toyota is seeking an experienced A/B Level Automotive Technician to join their high-volume service team in Sanford, FL. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Toyota vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship and customer safety. This role is suited for experienced technicians proficient in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance within a fast-paced dealership setting.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience required.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Toyota dealership experience preferred.
  • ASE Certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Toyota certifications are a plus.
  • Comfortable performing most repairs independently.
  • Confidently handle engine performance diagnostics.
  • Confidently handle brake, steering, and suspension repairs.
  • Confidently handle HVAC repairs.
  • Confidently handle cooling system repairs.
  • Confidently handle electrical diagnostics.
  • Confidently handle drivability concerns.
  • Confidently handle scheduled maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Toyota vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
  • Complete engine, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, cooling system, and drivetrain repairs.
  • Diagnose electrical, drivability, and performance concerns using factory diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
  • Accurately document repair recommendations and completed work.
  • Communicate repair needs and findings with Service Advisors.
  • Maintain productivity while ensuring repairs are completed safely and correctly the first time.
  • Keep work area clean and organized while following all safety procedures.
  • Stay current on Toyota technical training and repair procedures.
  • Follow all warranty policies and manufacturer repair guidelines.
  • Assist fellow technicians as needed while contributing to a positive team environment.
