About The Position

Knudtsen Foothills is growing and is hiring both A-Level Diagnostic Technicians and B-Level General Repair Technicians. A-Level Diagnostic Technicians are built for experienced diagnostic professionals and are compensated for their expertise in advanced diagnostic ability, electrical troubleshooting, driveability repairs, and complex system repairs. B-Level Technicians perform repairs, maintenance, and basic diagnostics while earning hourly pay plus performance incentives in a supportive environment. Both positions require excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work effectively with customers and dealership personnel, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening. Marijuana is not included in our pre-employment screening process.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and use of tools and equipment
  • Frequently lift and/or move 75-100 pounds; regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift more than 100 pounds
  • Work regularly around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, vibration, and shop equipment
  • 3+ years of technician experience preferred (B-Level)
  • 4-8 years of technician experience preferred (A-Level)
  • Strong diagnostic confidence across multiple vehicle systems (A-Level)
  • Ability to diagnose driveability concerns, electrical faults, and intermittent issues (A-Level)
  • Ability to perform complex repairs efficiently and accurately (A-Level)
  • Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair (B-Level)
  • Strong repair and maintenance skills (B-Level)
  • Desire to learn and advance technical abilities (B-Level)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex issues
