About The Position

Northern Roads Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Technician for their Fort Erie Toyota location. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions, inspecting and repairing electronic systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring vehicles qualify for warranty repairs. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean workspace. Continuous learning about new automotive technologies is expected, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adhere to health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Applicant must possess a 310S License.
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be well versed in automotive repair.
  • Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Must be able to lift 85 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Toyota experience and/or EV experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose the source of malfunctions and performing repairs.
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
  • Determine if additional safety or service work is required through comprehensive examinations.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and brake inspections in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, and services performed using digital systems or paper-based documentation as required.
  • Ensure all vehicles qualify for warranty prior to performing warranty repairs.
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers.
  • Provide thorough information to the service and parts teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free workspace.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and industry advancements through continuous learning.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
