About The Position

Auto Park KIA, part of the Holman family, is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician. Holman is a global automotive services organization with a strong history and core values. The Automotive Technician will perform repairs and diagnostics according to dealership and factory standards, maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology, and ensure a clean and organized workspace. Road-testing vehicles is also part of the role to ensure quality repairs. Adaptability to evolving automotive technologies and diagnostic tools is essential.

Requirements

• 1+ years of dealership service experience required
• Kia manufacturer experience/training highly preferred
• Appropriate Technical training or ASEs a plus
• Valid Drivers License and a clean MVR
• Willingness to undergo our background requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
