About The Position

Mazda of Burlington is looking for a motivated Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, stays productive, and wants to make the most of their time in the shop. We need someone who is dependable, works efficiently, and consistently looks for the next job rather than waiting for work to come to them. Our pay structure is designed for technicians who want to stay busy and earn based on their productivity. Flat-rate pay is available, with hourly pay ranging from $18–$22 per hour for candidates who prefer an hourly structure and meet the needs of the position.

Requirements

• Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department.
• Willingness to learn, improve, and take on additional work as skills develop.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

• Mazda experience and ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, brake work, suspension repairs, and other mechanical services based on skill level.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and dealership repair standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate repair needs and findings to service advisors.
• Manage time effectively, maintain consistent productivity, and take initiative throughout the workday.
• Deliver quality repairs while minimizing comebacks.
