Hunter Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of main shop automotive technician experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have your own professional set of tools.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications and/or manufacturer training are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of customer and dealership vehicles.
  • Perform routine maintenance as well as more complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Use modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Perform thorough inspections and identify additional service or repair needs.
  • Follow manufacturer procedures and recommended repair guidelines.
  • Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations.
  • Provide accurate information to help create a smooth customer experience.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and productive shop environment.
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Stay current with new automotive technology, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
