About The Position
Auto Park KIA, part of the Holman family, is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician. Holman is a global automotive services organization with a long history of core values and principles. The technician will perform work outlined on repair orders, diagnose malfunctions, and perform repairs. They will maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology and keep the shop area clean and organized. The role requires adapting to rapidly changing automotive technologies and diagnostic arenas. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance are available.
Requirements
- 1+ years of dealership service experience required
- Kia manufacturer experience/training highly preferred
- Appropriate Technical training or ASEs a plus
- Valid Drivers License and a clean MVR
- Willingness to undergo our background requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
- Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
- Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
- Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
