About The Position

AAMCO Transmissions, a leader in transmissions and complex automotive repairs, is seeking tenured, highly qualified Automotive Technicians to join their AAMCO Corporate Team at their new Corporate Store in Lafayette, Indiana. This location will also serve as a Training Center. The company is looking for top talent in the automotive industry, offering competitive hourly wages and commission. The work will be heavy line, and they are actively seeking experienced technicians in Transmission R&R, Automotive Repair, and Diagnostics. AAMCO invests in employee growth through ongoing training and advanced equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ Years working as a Technician/Mechanic for a quality automotive company/dealership
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Own professional grade tools to service any repairs required
• Must be hard-working, dedicated, professional, own and immediately make every effort to resolve customer concerns
• Must exhibit a can-do attitude working as an AAMCO Team Member, be punctual, and bringing a positive attitude to work every day
• Exhibit Safe working practices, habits and knowledge using shop tools and equipment

Nice To Haves

• ASE Certified Technician Preferred

Responsibilities

• Remove and reinstall major component systems including all components of the drive line
• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Bumper to bumper and heavy line experience
