About The Position

As a Service Technician at Tire Discounters, you will perform automotive services such as work on shocks, struts, steering, alignments, brakes, and transmissions, as well as routine maintenance. You will help ensure the success of daily operations at your location by diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and verifying safety through test drives. The role includes a weekly hourly rate, commission on labor, and variable overtime, with stated annual pay of $50,000–$100,000+.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools; a tool purchase program is available.
• Ability to operate automotive machines and equipment.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability to work Saturdays.
• Comfort with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions.
• Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Diagnostic scanner experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure safety.
