About The Position

We are always looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to join our team at McDonald GMC Cadillac. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the role of Automotive Technician. A qualified individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are in top shape by diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Requirements

Certification as an ASE Technician (or equivalent).
Extensive knowledge of advanced vehicle systems and diagnostics.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and repair manuals.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with advanced systems.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and more.
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.
Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and recommended repairs
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
