About The Position
Gallatin Honda, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Automotive Technicians of all skill levels to join their award-winning, high-volume service team. They are looking for both Express/Maintenance Technicians to build their skills and experienced Automotive Technicians with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional Automotive Technician experience (for experienced technicians)
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
- Honda or Acura experience preferred
- Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications preferred
- Ability to efficiently produce quality flat-rate hours
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous Express/Maintenance Technician experience preferred (for Express/Maintenance Technicians)
Nice To Haves
- Honda or Acura experience
- Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes and scheduled maintenance
- Complete multi-point and safety inspections
- Rotate tires and inspect tire condition and pressure
- Replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades
- Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids
- Identify potential maintenance and repair needs
- Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and other vehicle systems
- Perform repairs according to Honda and dealership standards
- Utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Test-drive vehicles to diagnose concerns and verify completed repairs
- Perform customer-pay and warranty repairs efficiently and accurately
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors
- Accurately document diagnostic findings and completed repairs
- Stay current on Honda technical information and repair procedures
- Participate in ongoing Honda training and certification programs
- Maintain strong productivity while delivering quality workmanship
