About The Position

This is a part-time trainee position for an Automotive Technician at a family-owned and operated business of 50 years. The goal is for the trainee to gain the knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician. The role involves providing timely and error-free tire and automotive services.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Have a valid drivers license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
