About The Position

Ron Tonkin Toyota is hiring Automotive Technicians/Mechanics now—and this is the time to join a winning team. Our Service Department is busy, well‑equipped, and known for its positive work culture. As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you’ll focus on accurately diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while delivering the quality service Toyota is known for. The ideal candidate will hold Toyota certifications and bring strong technical knowledge, experience, and pride in their work.

Requirements

1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
Driver’s License
Personal Tools
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

Toyota certifications
T-TEN Certified preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Automotive diagnostics and inspections
Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
