About The Position

We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, team player, and have a positive attitude. Seeking technicians to diagnose and present solutions, with integrity, transparency and a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 250+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
Meet or exceed hourly goals
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
Professional appearance and strong communication
A desire for long-term career development
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Efficiently navigate a computer

ASE Certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our guests.
Expand knowledge and grow in experience, as an automotive technician across a wide range of foreign and domestic vehicles
Complete accurate, and transparent digital courtesy vehicle inspections.
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns effectively.
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate findings related to guest concerns
Work together as a team, to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional results.
