About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat automotive technician with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to solving difficult problems and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, builds experience across domestic and foreign makes, and completes thorough, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections. The role works closely with the service department and other technicians to address guest concerns, solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.

This position is at a locally owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchise in Dallas, Texas. The franchise offers a modern facility with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and factory scan tools, consistent workload, free training, live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. The local franchisee—not Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation—is the employer and makes all employment decisions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a professional automotive technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• Ability to flag 50 or more hours per week.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
• Desire to serve customers.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head and in tight spaces as required by repairs.
• Dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
• Ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair guest vehicles using automotive knowledge and skills.
• Build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work with the team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Communicate concerns effectively and work closely with the service department.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
