About The Position
Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM, a top-rated MOPAR dealership located off SW Baseline Street, is actively seeking experienced Automotive Technicians/Mechanics to join our growing service department. As our dealership continues to experience record-setting months, now is the perfect time to join our team! As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and inspecting vehicles while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate will have automotive repair experience and certifications. Requirements
- 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal tools
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Dodge certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform automotive diagnostics and inspections
- Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems, and replace parts as needed
- Ensure all repairs and services comply with manufacturer specifications
- Mentor and assist other technicians on the Service Team
