About The Position

This role involves installing suspension lift kits, leveling kits, and lowering kits on Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs. The technician will also perform custom modifications such as wheels, tires, bumpers, winches, lighting, and off-road accessories. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering, and drivetrain components, conducting alignments, and safely operating shop equipment. The technician will inspect vehicles, recommend repairs, follow manufacturer specifications, perform basic automotive services, maintain a clean work environment, document work, and stay updated on aftermarket parts and trends.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with trucks, Jeeps, or off-road vehicles
  • Hands-on experience installing lift kits, leveling kits, suspension systems, and aftermarket accessories
  • Strong knowledge of suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with shop equipment (vehicle lifts, alignment machines, air tools, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Install suspension lift kits, leveling kits, and lowering kits on Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs
  • Perform custom modifications including wheels, tires, bumpers, winches, lighting, and off-road accessories
  • Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, and drivetrain components
  • Conduct alignments and ensure proper vehicle handling after modifications
  • Safely operate shop equipment including lifts, alignment machines, and power tools
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and shop standards for all installations
  • Perform basic automotive services (brakes, oil changes, shocks/struts, etc.) as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Document work performed and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
  • Stay up to date on aftermarket parts, off-road trends, and new installation techniques
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
