The General Services Agency (GSA) is responsible for a broad spectrum of services to all County departments and agencies, including Fleet Services, Facilities, Procurement, Special Services, Security Business Support, and the Parks Department. Fleet Operations of the GSA maintains and works on a variety of County Vehicles and Heavy Equipment. Under general supervision, the Automotive Systems Technician (II, III) installs, tests, repairs, maintains, and removes electronic and electrical mobile equipment from vehicles and related equipment. This role may also assist in new vehicle preparation, restoration, and/or modification of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills with 2 to 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, testing, repair, maintenance, and removal of electronic and electrical automotive equipment. The ideal candidate will have some experience or the ability to work well with others and, at the III level, oversee and train less experienced employees.
