About The Position

Porsche Stratham, an International Cars, Ltd., Inc. Company, is seeking a full-time shop assistant. This position is responsible for assisting technicians, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing inventory, and handling general administrative duties. ICL is employee owned and proud of our dealerships: Honda North, 1 North Pre-Owned and KIA North in Danvers MA, Dover Honda & Dover Chevrolet in Dover NH, Porsche of Stratham, Audi of Stratham and Honda Stratham in Stratham NH and Portsmouth VW in Greenland, NH.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focus and friendly attitude
• Flexible schedule to cover store hours
• Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist automotive technicians with vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance services.
• Maintain an organized and clean shop area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing parts and supplies.
• Prepare vehicles for service by performing basic tasks such as washing, cleaning, or performing minor pre-service inspections.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including filing paperwork, updating service logs, and preparing customer invoices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations within the shop.
• Perform general shop maintenance, including sweeping, trash removal, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers as needed, providing updates on vehicle progress.
• Help manage the flow of vehicles into and out of the shop in a timely manner.
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect department operations.
• Attends meetings, workshops and training sessions and reviews publications and related materials to become and remain current on the principles, practices and new developments in assigned work areas; Maintains professional appearance.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of personal work area and parts warehouse areas and safe work area.
• Supports all training initiatives.
