Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming parts and shipments
- Verifying inventory
- Stocking merchandise
- Ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing products
- Comparing product numbers to the packing lists to ensure that the products in each order match the packing list
- Checking in and receiving the orders in the morning
- Organizing special orders into wholesale/retail/online
- Assisting the parts counter people when needed
- Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
- Preparing product for shipment
- Learning to use our shipping software, inventory scanning system, and order processing system
- Handling issues that arise in shipping and inventory handling
- Maintaining product inventory in the correct locations after receiving incoming product
- Preparing product for return to the manufacturer
- Ensuring adherence to Hazmat regulations
