About The Position

Car Pros Kia Huntington Beach is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. If you're a motivated technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills—and Kia certification is a plus—we'd love to hear from you. As a member of our service team, you'll work in a fast-paced, professional environment with the latest diagnostic equipment while helping keep our customers safely on the road.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Kia certification is a plus.
• Relevant automotive certifications or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Kia and other automotive vehicles.
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Inspect vehicles and accurately identify mechanical concerns.
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and manufacturer procedures to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs when necessary.
• Install and repair vehicle accessories and components.
• Maintain accurate repair quality while following all manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all OSHA and dealership safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, managers, and fellow technicians.
• Deliver professional, courteous service to customers and coworkers.
• Follow all Car Pros policies, procedures, dress code, and compliance requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
