About The Position

Go Langley Mitsubishi is growing and is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join their service team. Located on the Langley Bypass in Surrey, the dealership offers a full-time Tuesday–Saturday schedule, Mitsubishi OEM training, comprehensive benefits, and long-term career opportunities across the Go Auto network. This role is for a skilled technician who takes pride in accurate diagnosis, quality repairs, and clear documentation.

Requirements

• Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician qualification
• Professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Your own tools
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong documentation and repair-story habits
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented approach
• Commitment to continued technical learning

Nice To Haves

• Previous import-brand or dealership experience
• Mitsubishi experience or OEM training
• Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills
• CDK or similar dealership-management-system experience
• Experience with digital inspections and customer repair videos

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles
• Complete repairs involving brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, electrical, HVAC, and cooling systems
• Perform accurate vehicle inspections
• Road-test vehicles for diagnosis and quality control
• Document condition, cause, and correction clearly
• Create customer-facing inspection and repair videos
• Identify and communicate recommended repairs
• Complete warranty and recall work according to required procedures
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, safety, and quality standards
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
