Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
• Quick learner with a team-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service approach
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of automotive systems
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed of additional service needs
• Provide accurate estimates of time required for additional repairs
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Support the team with additional duties as needed
