About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves setting and tracking performance goals and collaborating with the Service Manager to meet productivity and service targets.

Requirements

  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions accurately.
  • Sound judgment and effective decision-making skills.
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Technical or trade school degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using current technical tools and systems.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers in all interactions.
  • Assist as a secondary greeter on the Service Drive to welcome customers.
  • Stay informed on technical publications and service communications.
  • Perform vehicle services safely, accurately, and ethically on the first attempt.
  • Address original customer concerns before recommending additional services.
  • Inspect vehicles for further service needs following manufacturer and local guidelines.
  • Return vehicles clean and in excellent condition.
  • Participate in factory and in-house training to maintain certifications and skills.
  • Complete repair orders and documentation accurately with all required attachments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Service leadership.
  • Maintain punctuality, readiness, and professional appearance at all times.
