About The Position

Seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. The wage range for this role is $29.00 to $44.00 per flat rate hour. Hourly Wage is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonus for eligible roles, commissions, and competitive benefits.

Requirements

  • Technical or trade school degree, or a minimum of one year of automotive repair experience.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work successfully in a flat-rate environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
  • Willingness to attend required manufacturer and company training.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE Certification(s).
  • Previous dealership experience.
  • Experience with multiple vehicle makes and models.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete repair orders and document work performed.
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and additional service needs.
  • Perform inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary to confirm repairs and diagnose issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in company and manufacturer training programs.
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
  • Properly maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces.
  • Follow all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
