About The Position

Bird Kultgen Ford is seeking Automotive Service Technicians, either Ford Certified or motivated to become certified, to join their expanding team in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and a desire for professional growth within the Ford brand. This role offers a relocation incentive for qualified candidates moving over 50 miles, providing up to $1,500 per month for three months to assist with rent and utilities during the transition.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• Mechanical and diagnostic skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Ford Certified or motivated to become certified
• Excellent customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and test drives
• Repair and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical components
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and needed repairs
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
