Requirements

Experience not required.
Ability to read, interpret, write and speak technical documents in English. Hablo Espanol es una ventaja!
Valid driver's license
Be able to maintain an organized neat and safe work area
Possess a high level of motivation, energy and customer focused attitude
Be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
Be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time
Be able to work in an environment that frequently experiences extreme hot and cold temperatures, loud noises and exhaust fumes.
Be able to lift and move inventory items, trash cans and other work-related items (up to 50lbs.)
Be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
Be able to push, pull, pull-up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head/neck/shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands - all for extended periods of time and/or many times throughout the work shift.

Responsibilities

Review and follow computerized automotive repair orders
Able to perform an inspection of the vehicles basic functions and identify items that may need attention.
Perform tire pressure checks, oil changes, tire rotations, replace fuel filters, air filters and cabin filters, etc.
Communicate services, estimates and recommended repairs demonstrating exceptional service to customers.
Ensure the customer's vehicle is kept clean.
Keep the shop area neat and clean.
Make certain all equipment is in proper working order.
Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Complete all required training in the allotted time frame.
Pursue technical knowledge on an ongoing basis as automotive technology changes
Comply with all laws and regulations about hazardous materials.
Understand federal, state and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
