Requirements

Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Basic computer proficiency.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Willingness to continue technical education and manufacturer training.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Lincoln or Ford experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and dealership standards.
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including: Engine, Transmission, Electrical, Steering, Suspension, Braking systems, Air conditioning and HVAC.
Test-drive vehicles and perform diagnostic testing using manufacturer-approved equipment.
Accurately diagnose vehicle concerns and recommend appropriate repairs.
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Stay current with manufacturer training and evolving vehicle technology.
